CBDG Research Points Subsystem
The Central Geological Database Geological Research Points Subsystem stores data on all research points that are not boreholes. During field work, geologists often carry out various types of measurements, registration, sampling or observation. The location of the point and information about it are crucial for the later interpretation of the information obtained from that point. Samples taken in the field are often later tested in various laboratories. The results of these tests, in the form of laboratory measurements, are then sent to the CBDG Analyzes Subsystem, closely related to the CBDG Research Points Subsystem. Information about the test sites of various types of field work, i.e. research points on land and maritime, and information about the research there, are available in several ways, as: map services and thematic layers in the GeoLOG Application and the GEOLOGIA Portal and downloadable SHP file.
