CBDG Geoportal of spatial data
Spatial data is a key resource of the CBDG because all data from each geological discipline is referenced to a point in the field. The collection, storage and sharing of already processed spatial data is a very important area of activity of the CBDG. Spatial data are the informal 9th Subsystem CBDG. The primary way to make them available is through network services. They are used by specialized applications that provide access to spatial data from various fields of geology. In addition, this data is also made available in the form of SHP files. Among the many applications CBDG, four of them are particularly dedicated to the service of spatial data.
